Cabbages have been around for many years, and some of them were used in ancient times. Their many properties have led to the use of many types today. Today, many countries produce various types of cabbage, such as Kohlrabi, and sell them in domestic and foreign markets. China, India, USA, Spain, Poland, France, Bangladesh, Turkey, Pakistan, Algeria, Japan, Britain, Indonesia, Germany, Ecuador and Australia are the top cabbage producers in the world.
In the past, many people tried to use local vegetables and agricultural products, but today the export of agricultural products has greatly expanded. Today, agricultural products and Kohlrabi are harvested in a completely hygienic process and stored in well-equipped and advanced warehouses, and finally exported with a suitable packaging. Exporting agricultural products requires high skills and experience because these products are exposed to many pests and injuries. If the agricultural products are not stored in proper conditions, they will spoil quickly and all the costs and efforts of the exporter will be lost. Although proper maintenance of products can keep them healthy, but in general, the shelf life of agricultural products is shorter than other export products and special care must be taken in their maintenance. Due to the favorable climate and four seasons, Iran has a high capacity in the production of agricultural products and annually produces and exports various types of these products as well as high quality Kohlrabi. Some of the agricultural products are sold in the domestic market and some of them are exported to various countries such as Iraq, UAE, Azerbaijan, Russia, Bahrain, Oman and Afghanistan. Iran produces many types of agricultural products due to its very diverse climate and fertile lands. Diversity in products is one of the reasons for the popularity of Iranian agricultural products.
